Washtenaw County Man Reported Missing After Missing First Day Of Work In 30 Years

SUPERIOR TWP., Mich. (WWJ) -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Washtenaw County man who went missing Monday afternoon.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office say 56-year-old Marcus Esper left his Superior Township home on Monday afternoon, heading for a storage facility in Ypsilanti, and did not return. 

Police said Esper missed his first day of work in 30 years on Tuesday.

Esper was last seen driving a white 2013 Buick LaCrosse bearing license plate No. DNU8172.

He is described as approximately 6-foot-1, 235 lbs. with balding brown and gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded University of Michigan jacket, blue Sketchers shoes and an unkown color baseball cap.

Police say Esper has ties to Superior and Ypsilanti Townships but his whereabouts are unknown at this time.
